2 men charged in attempted armed robbery in Tinley Park Jewel parking lot
Two men were charged with attempting to rob a 72-year-old woman at gunpoint in a Jewel parking lot in Tinley Park on Tuesday.

Two men were charged with attempting to rob a 72-year-old woman at gunpoint in a Jewel parking lot in Tinley Park on Tuesday.
It's part of a partnership between ComEd and a company called Reactivate.
Officers at the scene recovered at least one weapon from inside the car.
Law enforcement sources told CBS 2 it was an off-duty officer who was driving when she lost control and hit a 56-year-old woman.
He was identified as the offender who, on Nov. 19, around 7:45 p.m., stabbed and seriously injured the victim in the 1500 block of North Clybourn Avenue.
Both students were attending SIU in Carbondale and were living on campus, according to police.
Police say he was identified as one of the offenders who less than two hours earlier took a car from a 27-year-old woman, in the 800 block of South Miller Street.
Firefighters say when they arrived the garage was fully engulfed in flames and was beginning to spread into the kitchen.
The Volkswagen had two male and three female occupants. All five were taken to local hospitals in critical condition by the Joliet Fire Department.
The victim suffered two gunshot wounds to the abdomen and one to the left leg and was taken to Mt. Sinai Hospital in critical condition and was later pronounced dead.
Family members said Mohammed K. Al Hijoj was a husband, a father of three, and a well-known and respected driver.
The offenders then got into three unknown cars and fled eastbound on Chicago Avenue.
The victims were walking just before 3 a.m., in the 900 block of West Lake Street, when a red truck pulled up and five armed males exited and demanded their property, police said.
The ages of the victims range from 16 to 60.
Arriving deputies located a Chevrolet Silverado that had caught fire.
