Teen charged with leading police on car chase, punching officer in Villa Park

Chicago police said William Warrior, 29, from Alsip, Illinois, was identified as the suspect who hit a squad car and an officer while fleeing in a car in Chatham on Saturday afternoon.
A spokesperson for Oak Park said officers arrived at the scene and found the victim with an apparent gunshot wound to the head.
The officer was hit by the suspect's car after responding to the scene for a call of a person with a gun in the 8100 block of South Cottage Grove Avenue.
State police said troopers tried to safely stop the operator when it became involved in a crash with a car on I-55 southbound north of Black Road.
The office said upon arrival, deputies found bullet holes in a vehicle and two nearby homes.
The ages of the victims in this weekend's shootings range from 17 to 74, according to police.
A spokesperson for the village said about 500 teens were gathered in the area, with multiple fights taking place.
The woman was shot while inside her vehicle in West Chatham on Monday. She was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.
Police said the missing teen was found in Chicago in good condition on Tuesday.
Police said a pedestrian was hit and killed while crossing the street in Little Village on Friday.
Praneeth Kumar Usiripalli, a 28-year-old Indian national, was charged with assault with a dangerous weapon with intent to do bodily harm while on an aircraft.
