Police arrested two people who were found inside the store.
Chicago Police Supt. Larry Snelling and Cook County State's Attorney Kim Foxx announced the charges Tuesday.
Police said the offenders were not able to enter the business.
The victim was attacked around 7:30 p.m., right near a police station on Odgen and Spaulding avenues.
The crash is under investigation.
Authorities say he targeted the victims because they were Muslim and because of the ongoing war between Israel and Hamas.
The two other victims are expected to survive their physical injuries.
CFD said three people were displaced.
CBS 2's Darius Johnson confirmed the man who allegedly shot the trooper is also wanted in connection with the death of a 37-year-old woman.
