The victim, only identified as a man in his 40s, was struck by a 2008 Chevrolet Silverado at the intersection of Van Nuys Boulevard and Ralston Avenue just before 10 p.m. on Sunday night, police said.
It happened at around 3:30 p.m. in the 1300 block of E. Alondra Boulevard, deputies said.
