Police shoot alleged domestic violence suspect following pursuit through San Bernardino County

The shooting happened at around 9:15 p.m. near Anaheim Street and Elm Avenue, according to the Long Beach Police Department.
The chase began near Cabazon at around 9:15 a.m. on Sunday, at which point deputies were called for reports of a carjacking and kidnapping that had happened.
It was reported at around 6:30 p.m. at a two-story building in the 600 block of S. Cardondelet Street, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
It's unclear how or when the fire started.
