Police said a woman was driving northbound on Beach Avenue in Soundview when shots were fired and a bullet hit the car's rear window.
The gunfire erupted just after 6:30 p.m. on Saturday in the Soundview section. Police are searching for the gunman. CBS News New York's Allen Devlin reports.
