Some tell CBS News New York's Naveen Dhaliwal if the increases get approved, they may have to move out of Rochdale Village.
According to police, they were inside an SUV outside the Rochdale Village Shopping Center.
Thousands were left in the dark and some were stranded in elevators when a glitch knocked out power to a housing complex in Queens.
Two men are now dead, following a shooting this past weekend in the Rochdale Village housing complex in southeast Queens.
A power outage has impacted numerous buildings there, some of which are under construction.
The three affiliated gangs are known as SNOW, Loyalty Over Everything and Young Bosses. They operated primarily in the Rosedale, Laurelton and Rochdale Village neighborhoods of Queens.
During the investigation, police seized 60 pounds of marijuana, more than four ounces of cocaine and other narcotics, about $30,000 in cash and seven guns. Six cars were also seized for forfeiture.
Police responding to a call of a robbery at gunpoint found Juan Torres shot in the head Saturday night. Residents set up a makeshift memorial outside the Lucky Grocery and Deli in Laurelton in his memory.
An unknown suspect shot and killed Juan Torres, 54, of Brooklyn, during an armed robbery on Saturday night at a Queens deli, police said.
