The Songwriters Hall of Fame now has 14 new members after a two-year pandemic pause, including Long Island's own Mariah Carey, the Isley Brothers, Pharrell Williams and the Eurythmics. CBS2's Elise Finch caught up with several of the inductees on the red carpet.
Some of the top songwriters in the music industry were inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame on Thursday.
Other inductees include Steve Miller and Mariah Carey, and Lil Nas X was honored with a special award.
"She actually looked at me and I said, 'Oh my god is that Mariah Carey?'" said West Side Market manager Homer Panteloglou.
