According to Fort Lauderdale police, officers responded to the 300 block of SW 1st Avenue around 4:49 a.m., after reports of a shooting. When they arrived, they found an adult male suffering from life-threatening injuries.
A teenager who went missing while swimming off Fort Lauderdale Beach was found dead Friday evening in what police said appeared to be an accidental drowning.
"We had the water coming up from the creek over the embankment, over the curb, into the house," Ted Inserra said.
