Temperatures are expected to be at or slightly below average for Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday.
After a warm stretch the past few days, things are cooling down. A big trough moving into the west coast will bring our temperatures down a bunch into the weekend.
Well...you made it! That was a tough stretch of hot temperatures and now we are on the other side.
Temps will still be well above average Wednesday but better.
Temperatures will soar into the 100s through Saturday, Sunday, Monday and even Tuesday.

Expect some very warm temperatures for the latter half of this work week and into the weekend.
Look for temperatures Tuesday to cool somewhat from Monday's highs; however, expect to see a general warming trend this week.

Basin temperatures will top out in the upper 80s and low 90s Wednesday. Valleys could reach triple digits by Thursday.

As promised, some cooler weather is upon us. An upper level approaching from the north has helped to thicken the marine layer up Tuesday morning.
After well above average temperatures, expect a bit of a cool down this work week for Southern California as an upper level low approaches the region.
Expect more of the same into the weekend — clouds in the morning and sunshine for the afternoon. Temperatures will continue to run very slightly below the seasonal averages.
There's a bit of a thicker marine layer Thursday morning running at about 1,800 feet deep. That will keep daytime highs 3 to 5 degrees below average for this time of year. But expect good clearing for a lovely afternoon.
Wednesday afternoon should be quite nice with temperatures in the low 80s in the basin to upper 80s & low 90s inland. Coastal communities will be hovering in the mid to upper 70s.
It should be a pleasant work week after a nasty weekend. Temperatures Tuesday will be running just a bit below average.
Look for another warm and muggy day here in the Southland. Valleys will pop into the upper 90s and 100s again Friday with mostly sunny skies.
