One man was arrested. Investigators also found a stolen car and trailer.
The suspect broke into an 82-year-old woman's home.
The boy was airlifted to a nearby hospital. He suffered no serious injuries.
The 33-year-old victim, Tiburcio Madrigal Cisneros, reportedly owed at least one of the suspect's money.
The sister-in-law of the couple responsible for the San Bernardino terror attack has changed her plea to guilty in a marriage fraud case.
"We do believe there is a strong likely that he is still armed and dangerous," Madden said.
They were arrested following a months-long surveillance operation.
