The shooting happened at around 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot outside of the Church's Texas Chicken location in the 8500 block of S. Figueroa Street.
One firefighter was airlifted to a hospital after suffering serious injuries. He was said to have been treated for his serious injuries and has been released from the hospital.
Detectives believe the two 19-year-old men have committed similar robberies targeting Hispanic victims in Anaheim, Orange County, and the Western United States.
