Chicago police were trying to determine if the duo is involved in a recent string of carjackings and armed robberies across the city and suburbs.
About 8:05 p.m., a group of between eight and 10 males and females approached three people in the 500 block of South Michigan, according to Chicago Police. The three victims were knocked to the ground and the suspects stole their personal property.
The day's latest homicide happened at 6:03 p.m. in the Uptown neighborhood on the North Side.
The burglary happened between 3:30-5:30 a.m. Nov. 4 in the 1200 block of West 35th Street, according to Chicago Police.
There were at least three carjackings in a span of two hours in Chicago overnight, and at least one of them might be connected to a carjacking in Cicero.
Police said the carjacker took the family on a terrifying 45-minute drive, before leaving them unharmed in Chicago.
