CBS 2's Chris Tye reports, family, friends, colleagues and people who didn't know Lt. Jan Tchoryk from the Chicago Fire Department said their goodbyes to the courageous firefighter.
"Lots of police man and fireman come out, but I think seeing it in person, it's a whole different level of awe."
"Right now, the firefighters of Chicago and Tchoryk families need Chicago. It's one of the worst weeks of our lives."

Mourners will pay their last respects to fallen Chicago Fire Department Lt. Jan Tchoryk on Thursday, at a funeral on the Northwest Side, after he died while battling a high-rise fire last week.
Tchoryk, 55, collapsed in the stairwell, at 1212 N. Lake Shore Dr., on April 5 while leading his crew on their way to the 27th floor, where the fire started.
His funeral will be held Thursday morning, which CBS 2 will carry live on our digital streaming network beginning at 9:30 a.m.
