However, this morning will be cold enough to support a light icy mix in spots that are north and west of Nashua and Fitchburg. Then, scattered showers will become more widespread this afternoon as a cold front nears New England.

November 2011 is now down in the books as the 2nd warmest on record! Yes, the average temperature was 50.4F, which is 5.7F ABOVE normal. Our warmest temperature at Boston Logan was 69F on November 8. There was a total of 4.21" of precipitation with only a trace of snow all month.
It's going to be a close 2nd, but it's a definite that we will be writing down November 2011 as the 2nd warmest on record behind November of 1975.
