Gov. Abbott told CBS News Texas that the Supreme Court's ruling on SB4 is "consequential," and acknowledged the ruling isn't conclusive.
"SCOTUS temporarily halted enforcement of SB 4 but Texas is still using its authority to arrest illegal immigrants for criminal trespass and other violations of law," Abbott said via X Monday night.
SB4 is set to take effect on Wednesday.
