Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga's family's spokesperson says they were notified Thursday about the search, but that they have not received confirmation on the identification of the remains.
It has been two weeks since Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga vanished after dropping a friend off at home in Seagoville on Sept. 27. But new information suggests that she made a later stop in Dallas.
Olascoaga was last seen at the Creekside mobile home park in Seagoville on the evening of Sept. 27.
"I have an uncle who plays football," 17-year-old Jacqueline Aguilar shared. "He played for Kansas and he's the one supporting me. And he was like, 'Oh, you have to do this.'"
Several North Texas school districts, including Dallas, Fort Worth and Prosper ISDs joined the lawsuit.
In 2019, the school and its facilities suffered major damage after a tornado ripped through Dallas.
