Paula Wethington is a digital producer at CBS Detroit. Much of her previous career was as a journalist at The Monroe News in Monroe, Michigan, where she held a number of roles including digital team leader, community news reporter, podcast host and personal finance columnist. She also was the radio news anchor for the Monroe in a Minute newscast in partnership with The Monroe News and Rewind 94.3 / Monroe Public Access.
Paula also held digital content roles at NEWSnet and at Gannett/USA Today network, working as digital producer for several of Gannett's Michigan newspapers.

Paula won digital and social media awards for her work in Monroe; and breaking news and feature writing awards for her work in Port Clinton.
She is a graduate of the University of South Carolina.
