Justin Adams

While he was growing up in Denver, Justin Adams envisioned a day when he would be on television and be a broadcaster. He now feels blessed to be covering news and sports for CBS News Colorado.

"It is truly a blessing to be able to do what I dreamed of," he said.

Justin graduated from Denver's Montbello High School and in 2024 was invited to participate as the emcee in the school's ribbon cutting ceremony for their new building.

"It a beautiful school and a beautiful community," he said. "Students have a wonderful opportunity to learn and grow there."

He then studied at the University of Colorado and started a family after he graduated.

Justin played football at the high school and collegiate level, and in addition to the job he does at CBS Colorado, Adams also does play-by-play broadcasting for several different media outlets.

"I always say I'm just getting started," Justin said.

Also in 2024, Adams was honored by the publication Denver Urban Spectrum as one of the year's "African Americans Who Make a Difference."

Justin says he and his family love living in the Centennial state.
