The four-day festival runs from August 1 to August 4 in Chicago's Grant Park.
A person of interest was in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of Rafael D. Wordlaw, 31.
Merchandise was stolen from the store, police confirmed.
No one was in custody late Monday.
Just before 5:15 a.m., shots were fired at Michigan Avenue.
The store owner told CBS News Chicago they stole the cash register and between $4,000 and $5,000 worth of products.
The victim suffered a graze wound to her leg.

A semi-truck carrying a load of 27000 lbs. of canned goods rolled over.
The police officer was confronted by multiple armed individuals. He's expected to be OK and no injuries were reported.
The three women and the officer were taken to local hospitals.
All southbound lanes reopened around 8 a.m.
"My heart is shattered, because it was a nice lady," Kim Sanders said. "She never bothered anybody."
