Man charged in hatchet attack at McDonald's on Chicago's Southwest Side

Chicago police confirmed a group crashed an SUV into the store, in the 3300 block of South Martin Luther King Drive, around 6:40 a.m.
The victim was taken to Illinois Masonic Hospital in good condition.
The giveaway only lasted an hour, and organizers warned customers, "Chappell Roan will not be in attendance."
The four-day festival runs from August 1 to August 4 in Chicago's Grant Park.
A person of interest was in custody in connection with the fatal shooting of Rafael D. Wordlaw, 31.
Merchandise was stolen from the store, police confirmed.
No one was in custody late Monday.
Just before 5:15 a.m., shots were fired at Michigan Avenue.
The store owner told CBS News Chicago they stole the cash register and between $4,000 and $5,000 worth of products.
The victim suffered a graze wound to her leg.
