North Texas 5th graders study measles, urge awareness as Texas cases rise

"I just think I'm the luckiest person in the world right now," the five-year veteran officer told backup units when they arrived.
Karmelo Anthony's attorneys urge the public to avoid rushing to judgment and assuming their client is guilty.
In response, Bond released a statement on social media, calling the claims "patently false."
The announcement was made during Texas A&M's recent Family Weekend activities.
The 17-year-old high school junior was stabbed to death on April 2 at a track meet.
The vehicle involved in the crash has been recovered and is being held as evidence.

According to prosecutors, the man confessed over the phone to family members, who then called 911.
The officer was taken into custody on Saturday.

The victim was taken to HCA Kendall Hospital for emergency brain surgery due to a brain bleed, police said.
The verdict was reached Thursday afternoon after deliberations that included a three-hour delay.
The 65-year-old man's body was discovered last Friday in the ice cooler behind the Chicagoan Bar and Lounge at 10702 NW 7th Ave.
