Suspect arrested in connection with threats against Texas lawmakers
The Texas State Capitol and grounds in Austin were evacuated due to the threat, state officials said.

At noon Saturday, protesters were crowded into City Hall Plaza in Downtown Dallas and Burk Burnett Park in Downtown Fort Worth.
Authorities say the men were conducting routine inspections of water infrastructure in the area.
Tracy Murphree, a former Texas Ranger, has been the Denton County sheriff since 2017.
His arrest followed a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in January 2023.
According to organizers, at least 15 "No Kings" protests are scheduled across the region Saturday.
