A bomb squad was called to Tarzana on Wednesday after a suspicious device was found at a homeless encampment near some businesses in the area.
Police said that the girl was walking home from school on Thursday afternoon when a man tried to force her into his car.
The dinosaur, nicknamed Claire, was returned to its rightful place early Monday morning after it was stolen last weekend.
Police said that the 34-year-old man had more than 2,000 pairs of stolen Nike shoes when his business was raided.
The incident happened in the 10600 block of Carmenita Road at around 8:30 a.m., according to city officials.
