California prison officials have denied parole for Erik and Lyle Menendez.
The blaze was reported at around 12:45 p.m. in the 15700 block of W. Burbank Boulevard, west of the 405 Freeway, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Police said the suspect shot at her but missed. However, he stabbed her before she ran into the shopping center for help.
Deputies said 64 people were arrested, 25 cars were towed and two cars were impounded for 30 days.
The chase ended on southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway near South Los Angeles, where the suspect crashed into a center divider and was ejected from the vehicle, police said.
Detectives said that the shooting happened a little before midnight on Wednesday, near a liquor store in the 12100 block of Long Beach Boulevard.
Firefighters said that the fire started inside a closet in the Echo Park United Methodist Church.
Police said that the man was firing shots into the air outside of the 7-Eleven on N. Vendome Street.
