Investigation ongoing after Newport Beach home hit by burglars

The crash happened at around 2:15 a.m. on Seal Beach Boulevard near the southbound part of the freeway, according to California Highway Patrol.
At least one of the suspects has been arrested after a group used a U-Haul to ram a business in the 10800 block of Burbank Avenue to gain entry early Monday morning.
The man was hospitalized in unknown condition after being shot while standing on top of a car in the 1600 block of Long Beach Avenue.
Southbound traffic on Vermont Avenue will be diverted to Marine Avenue while police investigate the deadly shooting, which happened at around 3:30 a.m.
