A hazardous materials investigation was underway after a post office in the city of Industry reportedly received a suspicious package, which turned out to be a vacuum, early Tuesday afternoon.
The deputies were hospitalized as a precaution after suffering minor injuries in a crash with a UPS truck and another car near the intersection of Turnbull Canyon Road and E. Poplar Avenue.
John Sigala, a 61-year-old Avondale, Arizona resident, was struck and killed late Friday while crossing Irwindale Avenue in Azusa.
