Rancho Cucamonga man arrested for murder of his mother
Investigators were sent to the home for a welfare check on Saturday and found Kathryn Morales, 65, dead under "suspicious circumstances."

Investigators were sent to the home for a welfare check on Saturday and found Kathryn Morales, 65, dead under "suspicious circumstances."
Both the driver and passenger surrendered to police and were arrested without further incident.
The man was stuck inside of the chimney on the second floor of the building, firefighters said.
Deshaun Stamps, 29, has been in custody since Jan. 2023 for attempted murder. He escaped from the West Valley Detention Center at around noon on Sunday.
The fire is burning dangerously close to a community of homes in the Lancaster area.

Police claim that the woman had a knife and was threatening family members before they arrived.
Investigators do not believe that speed, distracted driving or impairment are factors in the crash and that the driver remained at the scene to cooperate with their investigation.
