The case is the third reported in California so far this year.
The chase started just before 9 p.m. after officers attempted to make a traffic stop on a 2015 Jeep for reckless driving, according to the Rosemead Police Department.
The collision happened just before 9 a.m. in the 23300 block of Cajalco Road in Mead Valley, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The burglaries happened in the early morning hours of Saturday, July 27 and again the evening of Tuesday, July 30, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Police say that the victim was discovered with serious injuries inside of an apartment in the 1200 block of S. Hill Street at around 10 p.m. Tuesday evening.
Todd Christian Hartman, 41, was sentenced to 120 years to life in prison for molesting several girls he met through an Anaheim youth ministry and for possessing thousands of images and videos of illicit child-related material.
It happened at around 7:45 p.m. in the 400 block of E. 51st Street and Avalon Boulevard, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Investigators say the victim and suspect, who both died in the incident, were involved in a hit-and-run crash on the 210 Freeway moments before the shooting.
Investigators say that one female victim was sexually assaulted during a string of "hot prowl" burglaries in the East Hollywood and Silver Lake area early Saturday.
The shooting happened at around 10:40 p.m. near Stephen Sorensen Park in the 39500 block of 167th Street East, deputies said.
The 33-year-old suspect was arrested in nearby San Jacinto shortly after the crash, deputies said.
Investigators say that the shooting stemmed from a family dispute Saturday evening. The suspect was arrested at the scene.
Investigators say that two suspects followed someone from an ATM and approached them at gunpoint a short distance later as soon as they got out of their car on Saturday.
Deputies say the incident was reported at around 1 p.m. near Little Tujunga Canyon Road and the Santa Clara Truck Trail.
