LAPD officers shooting carjacking suspect on 210 Freeway, causing hours-long closure

A police shooting involving one suspect caused a 210 Freeway closure of its westbound lanes in the San Fernando Valley on Tuesday.
The tunnel is known to be an encampment, a Caltrans spokesperson said.
"I have great confidence that Yuhaaviatam of San Manuel Nation will carry this legacy forward with the same care, respect, and vision," said Kelly Roberts, soon-to-be former owner.
The endorsement comes less than one month before the June 2 election.
Harbor Boulevard in Santa Ana was closed between 17th Street and Washington Avenue.
Police said that the threat is believed to have been a hoax.
A woman and another juvenile were also transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
Aerial images showed drivers stuck on the freeway, with some driving across shoulders and over curbs to get to nearby off-ramps.
Forward progress was stopped by 7:04 p.m.
The hiker was identified only as a male.
The bear was spotted in aerial images around 5:30 p.m.
The shooting was believed to be gang-related, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
The singer is accused of killing 14-year-old Celeste Rivas Hernandez.
Deputy District Attorney Jonathan Chung said the Los Angeles County DA's Office is still waiting for autopsy reports for Rob and Michele Reiner.
