Steven Housman was arrested on April 29, a day after security camera footage showed him running from the area of the school. Thornton police, at the time, said he tried to abduct the girl. The girl resisted and got away, alerting police.
The Ouray Mountain Rescue Team said the body was recovered from the Precipice Peak area of the West Fork of the Cimarron River. The climber, who has not yet been identified, died on Saturday, and their body was recovered on Sunday.
Wright, however, was taken to the hospital and, when released, booked into the Larimer County Jail on $35,000 bond on charges of eluding, attempted assault, reckless driving, speeding, and driving on a suspended license.
The sheriff's office initially said the deputy and the driver were injured, but updated information later in the day indicated that the deputy was only taken to the hospital for evaluation. The suspect is now in custody.

The girl was found around 9:30 a.m. near South Salida Way and South Sedalia Circle, wearing a red Mickey Mouse onesie. The family was later located and reunited with the girl, the department said around 1 p.m.
