Pence addresses possible Jan. 6 testimony

Former Vice President Mike Pence addressed the possibility of him being asked to testify before the House committee investigating the Jan. 6 assault on the Capitol. His remarks came as Rudy Giuliani appeared before a special grand jury in Georgia investigating efforts to overturn the 2020 presidential election results. Giuliani is target of Georgia election probe, lawyer says

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani is a target of criminal investigation as a Georgia grand jury investigates efforts of Donald Trump and his supporters to overturn the 2020 election, his lawyer confirmed to CBS News. Key tests in primaries in several states

Voters in five states are heading to the polls for primaries Tuesday, but the key race to watch is in the battleground state of Georgia, where Republican Gov. Brian Kemp is opposing Trump-endorsed former Sen. David Perdue. There are also critical Republican primaries in Alabama and tests for both progressives and the Bush political dynasty in Texas. Starbucks is closing all its stores in Russia over Moscow’s invasion of Ukraine. And New York City's last remaining pay phone has been removed. It next heads to a museum.
