Cops expose drug ring in their own department

A former Chicago police officer risked her life and career to expose a massive criminal ring in her own department. Undercover narcotics officer Shannon Spalding says fellow cops were planting drugs and extorting people living in a housing project. Despite her fear of retaliation, she and her partner reported them to their department and the FBI. Alex Ferrer, host of CBS's "Whistleblower" series, joins "CBS This Morning" to discuss how the investigation unfolded.

Safety tips for planning a trip abroad

The mysterious deaths of American tourists in the Dominican Republic and the shooting of Red Sox legend David Ortiz are making some people reluctant to travel there. Six Americans have died in the DR in the last year, including a Maryland couple and a Pennsylvania woman who died within days of each other at the same resort. What to know before using popular aging app

There are new privacy concerns surrounding a popular app that makes users look older. FaceApp has more than 80 million active users but tech experts warn you may give up your privacy when you upload photos to the Russian-owned app. FaceApp said, "most images are deleted from our servers within 48 hours." Lawmakers are now calling for an FBI investigation.
