For the second time in as many days, the University of California, Berkeley was celebrating a new Nobel Prize Laureate as biochemist Jennifer Doudna was awarded a share of the 2020 Nobel Prize in Chemistry with colleague Emmanuelle Charpentier for the co-development of CRISPR-Cas9, a genome editing technology.
