Wednesday's average is lower than the week-ago average of $3.70 per gallon and well below last month's average of $3.90 per gallon.
Prices right here in the Philadelphia region are at $3.76 a gallon.
Gas prices have dropped still further in New Jersey and around the nation amid lower demand after the end of the summer driving season.
Treasury secretary Janet Yellen says it is possible prices at the pump could jump again this winter.
The spike in prices could happen due to the EU stopping to buy Russian oil.
According to AAA, if you're getting gas in the five-county Philadelphia area, it will cost you an average of $3.98 a gallon.

If you want to feel a little less pain at the pump, consider gassing up at Wawa.
At one gas station in Millbourne, Delaware County, the price for a gallon of gas was $3.99 for regular. It was $3.89 if you get a car wash.

But, drivers in the Philly region are paying more than the national average for regular gas.
That's the second-longest streak in nearly 20 years.
