Mark Bouris

(Episode 462; 19 minutes 28) From humble origins as the son of migrant parents in Sydney's working class suburb of Punchbowl, Mark Bouris has become one of Australia's most successful businessmen.

In the '90s he saw the opportunity to take on the banks with the launch of Wizard Home Loans, which was sold to GE for $500 million. Today he is building a new venture, offering a variety of finance products supported by financial advice, a gap which he says has not been met by the banks or any other provider.

Many people know Mark as the host of The Apprentice Australia, where aspiring business people went head to head for the prize of securing a job in Mark's latest business, Yellow Brick Road.

So what has been the key to his success as a businessman? Did he see any of these traits in the contestants on The Apprentice? And when can we see him back on television? Listen in to a wide ranging discussion on today's edition of BTalk.
