Marybel Rodriguez reports Tameeka Budwah triggered an Amber Alert on Tuesday after she took her 9-year-old son despite a court order that she was to have no contact with him, according to Miami Gardens police.
The boy was found safe and returned to his father. Tameeka Budwah is facing several charges including false imprisonment of a child.
The suspect, identified as 39-year-old Shaneeka Harris, has been charged with second-degree murder, police said.
Family members said the couple had been together for a close to a decade.
