A suspected gas leak prompted the evacuation of Miami Lakes Middle School on Wednesday, with no injuries reported.
Marybel Rodriguez said the school was evacuated during an investigation into a possible gas leak. About an hour later, the all-clear was given and students were allowed to return.
A hazardous materials team that was called to Flamingo Elementary found where the leak was coming from and it's been fixed.
The students were evacuated around 11 a.m. and allowed to return less than 30 minutes later.
