Bulls and Blackhawks fans will no longer be required to wear masks to attend games at the United Center, but they'll still have to show proof they've either been vaccinate against COVID-19, or have recently tested negative for the virus.

The United Center will require proof of a COVID vaccination or a negative COVID test for all events.
Pit masters and patrons alike were excited for the return of the Windy City Smokeout, which hosted its third day of country music, barbecue, and beer on Saturday at the United Center.
"Everyone was driven by the end goal which was to vaccinate as many people as we could."

Mayor Lori Lightfoot is loosening the city's COVID-19 restrictions, allowing for fans to return to the United Center for Bulls and Blackhawks games, and allowing restaurants, theaters, and other businesses to serve more customers indoors.
"If you just want to get it done with, I think this would be the best place."
Vaccines are available to anyone 16 and older. However, teens under 18 need a parent or guardian.
Mayor Lori Lightfoot has said that she expects Bulls and Blackhawks fans will be allowed back in the United Center before the season ends.
The United Center mass-vaccination site will be switching later this month to single-shot Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccines for all walk-in appointments.
