The shooting happened in the 7500 block of South Ellis Avenue at 2:05 p.m., police said. The 21-year-old was shot multiple times and pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
About 9:50 p.m., the 19-year-old was walking in the 2300 block of South Rockwell Street when a black SUV pulled up and someone inside opened fire, striking him several times, police said.
