She was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
Investigators said Kyleigh Cleveland lied to detectives during the manhunt for her boyfriend, when she claimed she didn't know his phone number.
Kyleigh Cleveland Singleton, 21, was the girlfriend of 23-year-old Romeo Nance. She is charged with one count of obstructing justice, police said.

"We can't get inside his head. We just don't have any clue as to why he did what he did," Joliet Police Chief Bill Evans said.
Maher Kassem was charged with four counts of first-degree murder, according to the Cook County State's Attorney's Office.
A 32-year-old woman told officers she had heard a loud noise and seen that the boy had been shot.
