The two victims were found shot in the east alley, in the 4700 block of North Troy Street just before 11:30 p.m. Friday.
Officers responded to a disturbance inside the residence and found the victim, a 59-year-old man, with a gunshot wound to the stomach.
The victim told the officers he was shot by the offender, a 55-year-old woman, who was still on the scene. She was placed in custody, and a weapon was recovered.
The teen had no other choice but to take the bus to get home from school – and in doing so, he was shot in the arm.
