A federal judge ruled the Illinois law banning people with concealed carry permits from taking guns on public transportation is in violation of the Second Amendment.
Beginning Tuesday, Sept. 3, it will begin running north to the Ravenswood Metra station on the Union Pacific North Line.
The route will now end at the Ravenswood Metra station.
The duration of the delay at the Northwest Side station was unknown late Friday.
