There are new details surrounding a shooting that wounded seven people in Chicago's Little Village neighborhood. CBS 2's Darius Johnson reports it all started with an argument over a parking spot.
Fire officials say 5 victims were taken to the hospital in critical condition after shots rang out near 30th and St. Louis.
The shooting happened just after 3:38 a.m. in the 3500 block of West 30th Street, off St. Louis Avenue in Little Village. CBS 2's Sara Machi talked with worried neighbors.
Preliminary investigation indicated that a 30-year-old man was arguing with an unidentified male offender who pulled out a firearm and shot at the victim before fleeing the scene in a white van, police said.
The teens were scheduled to appear at a juvenile detention hearing on Saturday.
Police said around 5:15 p.m., the girl was walking home from a nearby store when the man exposed himself to her and began to follow her as she walked home.
"This is an event that helps me with identify sources, resources, and potential contracts for them."

The victim was walking outside when someone in a car fired shots, police said.
This happened just after 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 2500 block of South Francisco Avenue in Little Village.
the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the chest and was pronounced dead on the scene.
The victim was sitting in the driver's seat of the car when shots were fired, according to police.
There is still concern about migrants sleeping in CTA warming buses and living at O'Hare International Airport.
"Buses aren't meant to be slept in."
CBS 2's Noel Brennan reports from Little Village where the state set up a new shelter. It used to be a CVS, at the corner of 27th and Pulaski. As of Wednesday, it's home to migrant families.
The total spent is $156.2 million between December 2022 and January of this year on vendor spending on the migrant crisis. CBS 2's Sabrina Franza reports.
