"The cause of the incident is being investigated, and the track is being repaired for damages associated with the incident and remains safe for operation," the agency said.
The incident happened on Christmas Eve just before 9 p.m. in the Garfield Park neighborhood.
Pastor Corey Brooks saw the photo of the alleged offenders for whom police were looking in the robbery at the 47th Street Green Line station, and recognized all of them. Tara Molina reports.
