Cold Canadian high pressure is supplying the coldest air of the season so far. With low sun angle this time of year, highs will remain in the 20's and lwr 30's for highs. Once sun sets, temps will quickly drop off into the teens for most...with lows holding in the lwr 20's right at the coast
Partly sunny skies this morning will give way to increasing cloudiness as the front pushes through this afternoon. This front may even trigger a brief rain or snow shower...but there is plenty of dry air in the low levels to keep today mostly dry. Highs will climb into the upper 30's and lwr 40's by midday before falling this afternoon behind the front.

A slow moving cold front is pushing into New England today. We are warming ahead of the front with breezy SW winds. Temps started off in the 50's and will be climbing into the Lwr 60's today. A deck of mid level clouds moving through this morning is creating a real grey appearance to the sky in spots and adding to the winter chill. These clouds will continue to push eastward and give way to increasing sunshine by the afternoon. Cold air moving over the 50 degree water is helping to form ocean effect clouds for the Cape and Nantucket. The rest of the region will see bright crisp sunshine in a very stable early December airmass. Highs today will range from 43-48. A few of these ocean effect clouds may try to back in off the water this afternoon as winds shift to the east.
