Dallas County on Sunday reported 332 cases of COVID-19, with 93 of them coming from a backlog in the state's reporting system.

Forty-four of those newly reported cases are from April, May and June that were "lost in the State's system," Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins said.
Health authorities are still wrestling through a backlog of more than 5,000 COVID-19 cases that were reported last weekend in Dallas County.
"Today we have 237 new COVID-19 positive cases to be reported of people who were tested in August," said Dallas County Judge Clay Jenkins.
