Collingdale Councilwoman Felecia Coffee lost her home in a fire last week, but that didn't stop her from hosting her monthly food distribution Friday afternoon.

After graduation, she traveled the country for her career, reporting for TV stations in Indiana, Rhode Island, North Carolina and Florida. She is thrilled to be back home and settle down in the mid-Atlantic.
Born and raised in the melting pot of Queens, New York City, Madeleine has always been fascinated by other cultures and languages. Her father is half Black and half White; her mother is Chinese. In school, she took Spanish, classical Latin, Mandarin and Russian classes. She became fluent in Spanish while living and working in Miami for 5 years.
Madeleine is a member of the Asian American Journalists Association (AAJA) and the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). In her spare time, she enjoys kayaking with her husband and 3-year-old daughter.
