Anaheim police said that he was found safely in Buena Park.
The shooting happened on Friday afternoon, marking the third deadly shooting to happen in Hawthorne in the span of a week.
The robbery happened in Perris on August 22 at around 5:30 p.m., according to the Riverside County Sheriff's Office.
The crash happened at around 9:20 a.m. on Friday morning at the intersection of Chandler Boulevard and Van Nuys Boulevard, police said.
Police say that the victim and suspect knew each other, but have not yet provided a motive for the deadly shooting.
