Elias Madriz Gutierrez, who has two prior DUI convictions, was arrested for a deadly hit-and-run crash involving a bicyclist in Huntington Beach. Police say that he was drunk when the collision happened early Monday morning.
The crashes happened at around 3:15 a.m. on eastbound lanes of the freeway just west of Adams Street, according to the California Highway Patrol.
The incident happened a little before 10 p.m. at the Vincent Grade train station, located on 900 S. Fremont Avenue, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department.
