Landslide causes damage in Rancho Palos Verdes

Firefighters were pulled from the home due to "extreme conditions," according to the Orange County Fire Authority.
The incident was reported at the intersection of Colima Road and Jellick Avenue in Rowland Heights.
The events are scheduled for Sept. 30 and Oct. 3, 4 and 10.
Temperatures were expected to be between the high 60s and low 80s throughout the region.
The victim was identified only as a 35-year-old man.
Authorities originally said the driver was wanted for using a false license plate.
No suspect was identified as of Wednesday morning.
Calderon, 39, is the son of former Assemblymember and State Senator Charles Calderon.
A third person was transported to a local hospital in unknown condition.
The mother of the boy was transported to a local hospital after harming herself with a sharp object, police said.
